Temporary learning facilities that were donated by UNICEF Pacific along with some supplies from Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade have been delivered to Bua District School by helicopters.

Recovery works and temporary structures are being put up to prepare for schools to be open for teachers on the 18th of this month.

Students start school on the 19th of this month.

Government vessel MV Vunilagi has also arrived at Malau Port this morning with more relief supplies from Suva to provide relief to affected people.
