Fundraising can now be conducted by schools.
This was confirmed by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka when questioned by the media about schools in maritime areas who still pay fees for school chaplains.
He says school management probably levy fees for things that are not provided by the grant received from the Education Ministry.
