SODELPA MP Mitieli Bulanauca and Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum

Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has reiterated that the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama went through a medical procedure and is currently recuperating in Australia. He was responding to questions from SODELPA MP Mitieli Bulanauca, who asked where is the Prime Minister and that there was no official statement about him to the Parliament or to the public.

Sayed-Khaiyum says Bulanauca should leave the Prime Minister alone and let him recover.

Speaker Ratu Epeli Nailatikau told Bulanauca that he cannot understand what his point was since Sayed-Khaiyum had already made 3 announcements regarding the health of the Prime Minister.
