Save the Children Fiji yesterday announced that it is aiming to provide lunch packs to at least 5,000 students who have been badly affected in the recent floods.

CEO Chandra Shekhar said the Save the Children team was out yesterday with 3,200 stationary packs and started distributing them from Nadi Sangam College.

He said they plan to purchase another 2,000 stationary packs as they are planning to assist 5,000 students.

Shekhar said they need assistance in the provision of the lunch packs for students from Monday.
