Sanatan Sewa and Ekta Foundation clean-up campaign at Suva foreshore

Members of the Sanatan Sewa and Ekta Foundation and friends gathered today at the Suva foreshore for a clean-up campaign, showing their commitment to giving back to the community.

Member Avikash Raj says their main aim today was to clean up the foreshore from the Higher Performance Unit (Rabuka Gym) to the Bowling club.

He says it was a concern when people visit this area they see rubbish and waste everywhere, and they are doing this cleanup to help the community.

Raj adds the responsibility starts with us with whatever little things we can contribute.

He also highlighted that he brought his children to the clean-up campaign to teach them the importance of having such initiatives that will assist the community in the long run.

He says he was surprised to see crystal glass and beer bottles along the shorelines, and this can be very harmful to the public when they use this area.

Raj is reminding the public that it's important to be aware that whatever they use should be disposed of properly and ensure the area is left safely for other users.

The member acknowledges Air Tech and Vitiana Investments PTE Limited for providing supplies for their clean-up campaign.
