President of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji, Dhirendra Nand

The President of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji, Dhirendra Nand is calling on all affiliated branches, Ramayan Mandalis, Mahila Mandals and committees to operate with full transparency and accountability.

Nand says all organizations registered under the Sabha are required to hold Annual General Meetings, have their financial records audited by registered auditors and disclose all financial donations and assistance received publicly.

He says in recent years, Sanatan Fiji has made progress in enhancing financial governance and reforms have been introduced to strengthen accountability across branches.

The President further says their focus is on promoting best practices in financial management, reinforcing internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing operational efficiency.

Nand adds the Sabha plans to initiate development projects aimed at upgrading its existing assets with the assistance of newly formed Working Development Committees.

Meanwhile, the Sabha has 31 active branches within Fiji and five branches in overseas.
