Sanatan Convention starts in Labasa today

The 62nd Sanatan Convention Tournament will start in Subrail Park Labasa from today.

The President of Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha Fiji, Dhirendra Nand says all teams taking part in the tournament are from Fiji and are registered branches of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji.

He says people look forward to the convention because it is an annual event and this is the first time it is held in Labasa.

Nand further says there will be many teams from different divisions taking part in different competitions such as netball and soccer.

He says everyone visiting the convention will be provided with free refreshments and vegetarian meals daily.

The President also says that they will reveal some major development announcements as well.

The Convention will commence with the Naari Sabha night today, Presidents Awards Night and Youth Night tomorrow and Talonoa night on Sunday.
