As we enter the first day of the 2025 Coca-Cola Games, six Samoan athletes and one Australian athlete are also taking part in the three-day competition at the HFC Bank Stadium.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics Association General Secretary Biu Colati says if the six athletes from Samoa win medals, it will not affect the medal tally for the Fijian athletes.

Colati says most of these athletes will be competing in field events, while two will participate in the track events.

He also highlighted the Australian athlete is a Fijian girl who will be competing in the discus and shot put events in the sub-junior grade.
