Samoa upsets Fiji to win PNC title

Samoa is the new Pacific Nations Cup Champions after they beat the Flying Fijians 31 points to 9 in the last hour.

Samoa scored a total of five tries, a try to Joe Tekori, sevens star's Mikaele Pesamino and Uale Mai scored the last try to seal the victory and Lolo Lui converted three tires.

Fiji's points all came from the three penalties by fullback Dan Rawaqa.

Samoa was leading 14-3 at halftime.

In the other match that was played today, Japan beat Tonga 26- 23.
