A sales representative has appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court for allegedly obtaining $61,744.00 by deception.

Ronald Kavitesh Sharma is charged with 11 counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception, one count of falsification of documents and one count of general dishonesty causing a loss.

It is alleged that between 21st August 2015 to 26th April 2017, Sharma obtained cash from various people to be deposited into Nan Feng Industrial company but failed to do so.

Magistrate Waleen George has remanded Sharma and she will deliver her bail ruling on 15th December.
