Saint John's College U19 boys hockey team beats Tilak 2-0

Saint John’s College hockey centre-half Julian Ravuiwasa and Head Boy Romanu Salele played a crucial role today as they assisted their team beat Tilak High School 2-0 in the first game of the Under 19 Secondary Schools Hockey Competition.

Coach Metuisela Masi says the boys defending champions have been preparing for the last three months and understand the importance of defending the title again this year.

He adds eight of their U19 players were part of last year’s team.

Saint John’s is in the same pool as Marist Brothers High School, Saint Thomas High School and Tilak High School.
