Ryan urges consistency from players
Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan has urged his players to maintain consistency in their performance ahead of the Cup quarterfinal match against England tonight in the Scotland 7s.

Ryan made this comment while speaking at halftime in Fiji’s
45-nil win over Wales in their last pool match last night.

Ryan stressed that defence will be the key and a good start is important in every game.

Fiji’s defensive structure stood out against Wales and they scored seven unanswered tries to claim the victory.

Speedster Samisoni Viriviri continued his fine performance scoring two early tries while Viliame Mata, Waisea Nacuqu, Vatemo Ravouvou, Leo Naikasau and Donasio Ratubuli all scored a try each.

Fiji defeated Argentina in their first pool match
26-7 and later beat Kenya 24-17 in their second pool match.

Fiji will meet England in the second Cup quarterfinal at 11.20 tonight.

New Zealand will play Australia in the first Cup quarterfinal at 10.58pm.

In two other quarterfinals, Scotland will face South Africa while Canada will play Kenya.

The Cup semifinals will be at 2:58am and the Cup final will be played at 5:50am tomorrow.
