Jone Robertson is the new Film Fiji Chief Executive Officer

Robertson says it is with great honour and excitement that he assumes the role of CEO at Film Fiji, adding he is committed to building on their past successes and working collaboratively with stakeholders to further elevate Fiji as a premier filming destination.

He says together, they will continue to harness the beauty of our cultural heritage and landscapes to attract filmmakers from around the world.

As the new CEO, Robertson is expected to drive Film Fiji through a period of key transition, underpinned by their strategic plan through to the end of 2026.

Film Fiji says after a short stint working on overseas film productions in Fiji, Robertson joined Film Fiji in 2018 and has worked with international productions such as Netflix, Amazon, STX, CBS, Blumhouse Productions, and Hallmark.

In 2021, Robertson was promoted to Productions & Logistics Executive.

Film Fiji Chairman, Culden Kamea says JR is a popular and excellent Captain to steer Film Fiji through transition to new horizons.

Kamea says their Board is excited for him and the great crew that they have at Film Fiji.
