SODELPA MP, Ro Teimumu Kepa has paid tribute to former Leader of of Opposition and Parliamentary Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka, saying it takes a lot of guts and courage to announce his resignation as Leader of Opposition and Member of Parliament.

She says Rabuka has done this after a lot of soul searching.

Ro Teimumu has also thanked the Prime Minister and the Attorney General for coming across and acknowledging Rabuka.

Meanwhile, Ro Teimumu has questioned why 370 teachers at technical colleges are being informed that their employment contracts will expire at the end of this month.

She says all teachers are also concerned about their contracts especially those on short term contracts.

Ro Teimumu says life has become too difficult for teachers.
