Opposition spokesperson, Mick Beddoes said Opposition Leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa is the Shadow or Alternative Prime Minister, not Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu.
Beddoes said Ratu Naiqama is only the Shadow Minister to go against Prime Minister and Minister for Sugar and I-Taukei Affairs, Voreqe Bainimarama.
Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa is the Shadow Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts.
Meanwhile Ro Teimumu also announced last week that she will not chair the Public Accounts Committee.
The Opposition Leader was supposed to chair the committee to assess the Auditor General’s Reports from 2007 to 2013.
Opposition MP, Biman Prasad has been nominated to chair the Public Accounts Committee.
