Risk of flash flood with significant rainfall in the last 24 hours

The Weather Office is stressing that there has been significant rainfall in the last 24 hours and there is still a high risk of flash flooding in low lying and flood-prone areas.

Please note a heavy rain warning remains in force for the Fiji group.

A severe flood warning remains in force for low lying areas near the Nakauvadra river in Rakiraki, Nasivi river in Tavua, Ba river, Sabeto and Nawaka rivers in Nadi, Nadi river, Waibula river in Korovou, Rewa river, Waimanu river, Wainibuka and Waidina river and upper Labasa river.

The high tide is at 1pm.
