Rewa overcome spirited Nikao Sokattak in OFC Champions League clash

Rewa has defeated Nikao Sokattak from Cook Islands 3-1 in their first group match of the OFC Champions League in Auckland.

Abbu Zahid struck twice while Tevita Waranivalu scored a goal for Rewa.

They led 2-0 at half-time.

Meanwhile, Auckland City hammered reigning champions Hienghène Sport 5-0 earlier today.

The Delta Tigers will now play Auckland City at 12pm next Monday and Hienghène Sport at 12pm next Thursday.

Two top teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
