The Delta Tigers from Rewa are looking to end their 5 year drought at the Battle Of The Giants tournament when they take on hosts Labasa in the final today.

After a stunning 6-0 victory over Lautoka in the semi-final, their confidence is at an all time high.

Rewa Head Coach Tevita Waranaivalu believes his team is ready to finish the job.

They dominated the match, exploiting Lautoka’s early red card and sticking closely to their tactical approach.

Waranaivalu praised his players for their discipline and commitment, highlighting the role of faith and hard work in the team’s success.

He says Rewa’s sharp passing and clinical finishing were the result of their training sessions, and it was satisfying to see it reflected in their performance.

Rewa now turn their attention to today’s final, where they will face hosts Labasa — who secured their spot after defeating Navua 1-0 — at 3pm at Subrail Park.

A huge crowd is expected, but Waranaivalu says they will remain calm and focused.

He says the fans will definitely come out in numbers to support their home team, but that won’t take anything away from his side.
