Rewa beats Labasa 2-1 to take top spot on DPL points table

Rewa has beaten Labasa 2-1 at Ratu Cakobau Park and has taken the lead on the Digicel Fiji Premier League points table. Epeli Valevou was the hero for Rewa as he scored a goal in each half.

Netani Suluka scored for Labasa.

The game was postponed earlier due to heavy rain and was again delayed by about an hour due to unplayable ground conditions.

Meanwhile, Tavua has beaten Northland Tailevu 4-1 in the opening match of the Digicel Senior League at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaqa.
