The Rewa women’s soccer team aims to create history in this year’s Vodafone Women’s IDC which kicks off tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.

Coach Laisani Mataele says Rewa has never won the women’s IDC and they want to win the competition this year.

She says the postponement of the tournament from earlier this month to this week because of bad weather allowed the players to return to training camps.

Rewa open their campaign against Nadroga at 2pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Suva take on Nasinu at 12pm, defending champions, Ba take on Nadi at 4pm while Tailevu Naitasiri will face Labasa at 6.30pm.

The final will be played on Monday.
