Rewa aims for points despite Champions League exit

The Rewa Football Club is setting its sights on securing at least three points in their final group match against Auckland City today despite being knocked out of contention for the OFC Men’s Champions League semi finals.

Coach Rodeck Singh says losing 4-2 to AS Tiga Sports and 1-0 to AS Pirae, they are hoping to finish strongly.

Despite the disappointing results, Singh praised his team’s efforts, acknowledging the challenges they faced with player availability throughout the campaign.

He says they did their best, and performed better than their first game, but again not the result they wanted.

Rewa will play Auckland City at 4pm.
