Jone Vuto has been elected as the new Vice-President of the Methodist Church of Fiji.

General Secretary of the Methodist Church of Fiji, Reverend Jolame Lasawa says that Vuto will be inducted on Sunday and his position will be effective from 1st of January 2025.

Reverend Lasawa highlighted that the President Reverend Semisi Turagavou, the General Secretary and the Deputy General Secretary, Reverend Anil Reuben, will serve another term.

Reverend Lasawa says this year, the Methodist Church aims to elevate its mission in Fiji, with one of its targets to establish a TV and radio station.

The Methodist Church Annual Conference is currently underway at the Vodafone Arena.
