The Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Bala has stressed that people need to respect Yeshnil Karan in accepting Athletics Fiji’s decision not to include him in the Team Fiji squad to the Pacific Games.
Bala highlighted this in parliament and says that there is a need to speak on the issue as it is of national interest.
He says Karan has accepted the decision and he is moved by his composure and maturity.
Bala says he will follow with interest the pathway Athletics Fiji comes up with Karan in the coming months.
