Residents urged to take precaution
Residents of Nadi and Ba are advised to take necessary precautions and take action now as the Nadi River has burst its banks.

DISMAC Director, Pajiliai Dobui said flood waters in Nadi town continue to rise and concerns continue to grow as the next high tide is at 6.20 this evening.

Flood waters are already flowing into Nadi Town and surrounding areas.

Dobui said the Western Division is the worst affected and things are expected to worsen tonight with heavy rain in the highlands and the approaching high tide.
