Residents in Narere without water since last night

Residents of Mana Street and surrounding areas in Narere, Nasinu, have voiced their frustration after being left without water since last night

The residents also say there was no prior warning from the Water Authority of Fiji.

While speaking to fijivillage News, a resident says the lack of communication left households unprepared causing them difficulty in carrying out their weekend activities.

The Water Authority of Fiji has since issued an unplanned water disruption notice, citing a burst main as the cause of the outage.

WAF says the affected areas include parts of Omkar Road to Vatoa Junction, as well as Bawara, Makita Street, Macou Street, Tiwari Shop Street, and nearby areas.

The Authority says their teams are working to restore supply as soon as possible.
