If you are living in flood prone areas in between Sigatoka and Nausori, please move to higher ground before high tide at midnight.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu says people living between these two corridors should start taking precautions and move to higher ground.

He says everyone has been alerted through the National Disaster Management Office and the Weather Office should not take that risk and move towards higher ground before the high tide comes around midnight.

He says, they have been monitoring the two towns and evacuation centres have been identified and they will be open if the need arises.
