Three people are currently being treated at the CWM Hospital following an accident along Grantham Road in Suva today.

Police say the three injured include the driver and 2 passengers on the TFL panel van.

According to CCTV footage, a vehicle was exiting Yarawa Road when it collided with another vehicle travelling along Grantham Road.

The video of the accident, which is being widely shared on social media, shows that the TFL van was in the drain while people tried to assist those inside the van.

Meanwhile, Yarawa Road resident and Raiwasa neighbourhood watch zone committee member Arun Kumar is calling on the Fiji Roads Authority to construct a roundabout and install cameras at the junction along Yarawa Road and Grantham Road in Suva.

He says the President of the Committee had written to FRA regarding their concerns, but they have not received any response.

Kumar says the residents are afraid of walking along Grantham Road because many vehicles are speeding.

He also highlighted that with four lanes, it is difficult for them to go out.
