Reapi breaks 19-year-old record at Coca Cola Suva Zone 1

Vunidakua Reapi of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School has broken a 19-year-old record at the Coca Cola Suva Zone 1 meet currently underway at the ANZ Stadium.

Reapi won gold in the Intermediate Girls Discus with a throw of 32.39 metres.

The old record of 29.25 metres had been set in 2002 by Dudley High School.

Looking at the Medal Tally, Namosi Secondary School is leading the Boys Division with 3 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze while Ratu Sukuna Memorial School is in second place with 2 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

Sacred Heart Cathedral is in third place with 2 gold and 1 silver.

In the Girls Division, Namosi Secondary School is leading with 5 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze while Ratu Sukuna Memorial School is in second place with 4 gold and 2 silver.

Ballentine Memorial School is in third place with 1 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze.
