Ravunawa sworn in as Assistant Health Minister
Opposition Group of 9 member Penioni Ravunawa

Opposition Group of 9 member Penioni Ravunawa has been sworn in as the Assistant Minister for Health at the State House this morning.

This means 7 members from the Group of 9 have been appointed as Ministers and Assistant Ministers.

He was not sworn in last week with other Ministers as Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka had confirmed he was not in the country.

Rabuka, Minister for Health Dr Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu, Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica and other Group of 9 members were present at the State House for the swearing in.

The media was not invited for the event just like the swearing-in ceremony last week.
