Fiji Airways National Men's 7s coach, Osea Kolinisau has chosen former Olympian and gold medallist Vatemo Ravouvou to captain the team for the Hong Kong 7s while Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli has picked the experienced Raijieli Daveua.

Ravouvou was selected back into the wider training squad after proving himself in the local Fiji Bitter 7s Tournaments.

Daveua says their goal this year is to go one better than last year by reaching the cup finals.

The Fijiana 7s side play Australia at 4.25pm Friday, they will then take on South Africa at 7.12pm Friday, and they will meet Ireland at 3.02pm Saturday.

The Hong Kong 7s will be held from Friday to Sunday.

The Paris Olympics Rugby 7s competition will be held from the 24th to the 30th of July.
