Table-toppers, Penrith Panthers finally crashed to their first loss of the year – and first defeat in 28 regular-season games as bitter rivals the Wests Tigers triumphed 26-6 in the NRL last night.

The unbeaten Panthers were missing seven topliners including star halves Jarome Luai and Nathan Cleary and forward leader Isaah Yeo.

Meanwhile, Mikaele Ravalawa and Brayden Wiliame scored a try each as the Dragons demolished the Broncos 52-14.
