Rauqe of QVS and Taginasedrau of St Vincent is Tailevu Zone blue ribbon champions

Senirusi Rauqe of Queen Victoria School and Bikoca Taginasedrau of St Vincent College

Senirusi Rauqe of Queen Victoria School has won gold in the blue ribbon event at the Coca-Cola Tailevu Zone competition with an unofficial time of 10.70 seconds.

Bikoca Taginasedrau of St Vincent College won the Senior girls 100 metres with the time of 13.49 seconds.

RKS is currently leading the boy's medal tally after the first day of competition with 5 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze, QVS is in second place with 5 gold, 2 silver and 6 bronze, while Tailevu North College trails in third place with 1 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze.

In the girls division, Tailevu North leads with 5 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Dawasamu Secondary School is in second place with 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze while Naiyala Secondary School is third with 2 gold and 2 silver medals.

The Tailevu Zone continues from 8.30am at the HFC Bank Stadium.
