President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere says God's calling on everyone is different and his appointment as Head of State was something he had never imagined.

Ratu Wiliame is currently in the Northern Division for the traditional welcome ceremonies and thanksgiving by the people of Macuata.

Ratu Wiliame has stressed the importance of unity, especially in a village setting where traditional protocols must be observed at all times and the elders respected.

The President has urged youths to step up and be leaders in their own right because they do not know what the future holds for them, but they must live their lives prepared for what the future holds.

Many people had stood at the roadside to show their respect to the new President as the presidential vehicle went past.
