Radradra’s younger brother wins QVS blue ribbon event while  Dratabu lad breaks Intermediate High Jump record

The younger brother of Flying Fijians star Semi Radradra has won the Blue Ribbon Event at the QVS Inter-House at the ANZ Stadium this afternoon.

Netani Waqavatu says he is happy with his achievement and is looking forward to winning gold in the upcoming Tailevu Zone for QVS.

Waqavatu says he did his training along the road towards Vulinitu.

He is dedicating his achievement to his parents back in Taveuni.

Meanwhile, Maleli Nauvasi of Bau House has broken the school Intermediate High Jump record with a jump of 1.85 metres.

Nauvasi who hails from Nadi says a few of his friends suggested if he could try the High Jump event and it went above his expectation.

Nauvasi says his aim is to jump a height of 1.90 metres.

The 16-year-old has also dedicated his achievement’s to his parent's and all his dorm mates in Bau House.
