“The voice that was heard on our Radio Stations for the past 22 years has been silenced forever.”
These are the words of Radio Sargam personality Jashmin Khan who is today paying tribute to Imam Hafiz Musa Patel, one of three Fijians killed in the terror attack in Christchurch.
Patel was a guest on a special Ramadhan program, Ramzan-e-mubarak on Radio Sargam for 22 years.
During the month of fasting for muslims, Patel would speak on topics such as taking care of parents, caring for orphans and underprivileged people.
Khan says today Patel has moved on, however his virtues will remain forever.
