Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is urging people not to even think about trying drugs if they value their lives, as he has been told that there are even video recordings of young people naked and begging in the streets of Suva, Lautoka, and Nadi.

While speaking during the 2024 Nadi Bula Festival, Rabuka says addressing the issue of drug abuse is crucial for safeguarding health and well-being, not just for our children but for our nation as a whole.

He says the Government cannot battle this alone, and through the education sector, they have been educating students on the risks and consequences of drug addiction.

Rabuka says now more than ever, we must work together to remove it from our nation as it's not only in our towns now, but also in some of our very homes and even villages.

Meanwhile, Miss Guard Force Fiji, Fatima Ali, was crowned Miss Bula 2024, while Miss I-54 Enterprise, Serai Bale, won first runner-up, and second runner-up was awarded to Miss Media Waves, Joana Ketenilagi.

Miss Charity was awarded to Miss Nadi Town Council, Caroline Tasere, and Miss Personality was won by Miss Sharma Music Centre, Leilani Lord.
