PA Leader concerned about bad roads, water and power cuts

Rabuka says the state of Fiji is mostly witnessed in Nasinu
People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka

People’s Alliance Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka says regular power and water cuts, poor water supply, lack of proper rubbish disposal, rubbish collection, lack of bus shelters, terrible roads, not enough street lights and blocked drains are some of the difficulties the 130,000 residents of Nasinu have been facing for some time.

Rabuka says after nearly sixteen years of government by Voreqe Bainimarama and Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, this is where Nasinu stands.

He says the state of the country is reflected in the conditions mostly witnessed in Nasinu.

He says the way rubbish is discarded in places around Nasinu is an eyesore and health hazard.

Rabuka says flooding is caused by direct rainfall and blocked drains, some of which is contributing towards pollution of the Rewa Delta and the Suva foreshore.

He says water and power cuts also concern many residents.
