Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Government of the United States of America, and the families and loved ones of those who tragically lost their lives in the midair collision between an American Airlines passenger plane and a U.S. Army helicopter in Washington, D.C.
While speaking on behalf of the Government and the people of Fiji in Washington, D.C this morning, Rabuka says they are deeply saddened by the devastating accident.
Rabuka says Fiji stands united with the people of the United States of America during this difficult time. He adds our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims and with the American people.
