Rabuka congratulates Modi for his 3rd term victory in elections

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has congratulated Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the historic third term victory in India’s recent elections.

Rabuka says the historic victory of Modi demonstrates the unwavering trust and support that the people of India have in his visionary and inspirational leadership.

Rabuka says he looks forward to working closely with Modi to deepen cooperation between the two nations to accomplish shared aspirations and commitment to democracy, economic resilience and social well-being of the nations.

He says during their meeting at the margins of the 3rd Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation held in Papua New Guinea in May last year, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further advance the development cooperation and engagements between the two nations.

He also acknowledged the historical and cultural links which signifies the enduring relationship and cooperation between the two nations.
