Fiji Bati player and Rabbitohs centre Taane Milne scored a double to help the South Sydney side to their fifth preliminary final in a row as they defeated the Cronulla Sharks 38-12 in the NRL last night.

Mark Nicholls, Cameron Murray, Lachlan Ilias and Cody Walker scored a try each for the Rabbitohs.

Briton Nikora and Ronaldo Mulitalo scored the points for the Sharks.

The Rabbitohs' win means they will play the Panthers at 9.50pm on Saturday in the second preliminary finals.

The Eels will meet the Cowboys at 9.50pm Friday in the first preliminary finals.
