Ratu Kadavulevu School and Lelean Memorial School have reconciled after a video went viral on Facebook showing the bus carrying the students of Lelean getting stoned by RKS students after the Eastern Zone semi finals held at Dawasamu Ground last Friday.

A traditional reconciliation was done to mend the relationship that was broken.

While speaking to fijivillage News, the Ministry of Education Executive Supporting, Joseva Gavidi says the traditional protocol portrayed to the students the importance of having good behaviour.

Gavidi says students have been reminded that discipline is always an important aspect of any student.

He says the supervision of students is the responsibility of everyone as stakeholders, parents, supporters and teachers.

He adds there are some other steps and measures that they have put into place to make sure that this type of incident does not happen again.

Gavidi also highlighted that the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Union has also been reminded of such important measures since the Deans competition is coming up because the safety of the students is paramount.

He adds parents, guardians and teachers were present to witness the reconciliation.
