RKS retains Eastern Zone Rugby U14 title, defeating Lelean 15-12

A last minute try from Tevita Lewaravu of RKS during the Vodafone Eastern Zone Secondary School Rugby U14 final ensured the Lodoni boys retain their title defeating Lelean Memorial School 15-12 at the HFC Bank Stadium this morning.

The defending champion showcased their guts by applying pressure on the Lelean’s forward pack, and it managed them to score their last minute try.

Lelean started off strong with a penalty try and a try to Suliasi Takape, while RKS responded from a try to openside flanker, Romeo Bose.

Jale Raikatalau of RKS closed the gap with his try in the first minute of the second half.

The main game between Lelean and QVS in the U18 final is at 4.25pm.

The next final match will be between Dawasamu facing ACS in the U18 Raluve final at 11.10am.

In other matches, RKS will face QVS in the U15 final at 10.05am, RKS will be meet QVS in the U16 final at 11.10am, RKS will meet QVS in the U17 final at 11.10am, Lelean will face RKS at 12.35pm in the U19 final and Lelean will meet QVS in the U18 final at 3.25pm tomorrow.

The Eastern Zone Dean's final admission is $12 for the Grandstand, $8 for the Concrete stand and $5 for the Embankment.
