RFMF has invited PM for official visit to the RFMF - Commander
Minister for Home Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua, Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka and Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Major General Jone Kalouniwai

The Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Major General Jone Kalouniwai confirms that the RFMF has extended an invitation for an official visit of Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka to the RFMF tomorrow.

Major General Kalouniwai says the Prime Minister will be accorded the normal protocols with the Honour Guards, the organisation briefs at the Strategic Headquarters, Navy Headquarters and at the Land Forces Headquarters at Queen Elizabeth Barracks.

This will be followed by a traditional welcome ceremony and then lunch at the Officers Mess.

While confirming the official visit of the Prime Minister to the RFMF, Minister for Home Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua says the government ministers will also be joining the Prime Minister at the function at QEB, and Tikoduadua will join Rabuka throughout the visit.

Tikoduadua says unfortunately, there has been so much fake news surrounding the official visit.

He says the Prime Minister is now able to visit the RFMF after the COP meeting, and Tikoduadua, his Permanent Secretary and the Army Commander have just returned from the South Pacific Defence Ministers Meeting in Noumea.
