The Real Estate Licensing Board says they are looking at changing some of the provisions in their act to allow them to prosecute bogus agents.

REALB Chairman, Dr. Abdul Hassan says at the moment they have limited powers to deal directly with the bogus agents.

Dr. Hassan says they have referred about 20 cases to Police so far.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairman of REALB, Hemant Kumar says they are also urging the public to be aware that there are people that will try and fool them.

Kumar says they are also running awareness campaigns.
