The management of Extra Supermarket in Labasa is grateful to the National Fire Authority for their quick action in containing the spread of the fire that happened at their shop yesterday afternoon.
According to the Complex Manager Claudi Hues, the fire started from their main metre panel room.
He says the NFA team arrived on time and managed to put out the fire.
Hues says they are still awaiting confirmation from the NFA team on how the fire started.
He adds everything is normal now.
