Quick action by NFA saves lives as fire breaks out in Nabua restaurant

A fire broke out at the Aosen Restaurant in Nabua this afternoon, however, quick action by the National Fire Authority saved lives.

The owner of the restaurant says the fire started while she was frying fish.

She says upon noticing the fire, they immediately ran out of the building.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Jolame Cagi a resident of Nabua says he was standing in front of Rajendras Supermarket when he noticed smoke coming from the restaurant.

Cagi says he saw the smoke and immediately ran into the restaurant to alert the owner and some customers who were having lunch.

We have sent questions to the NFA.
