Commissioner of Police, Sitiveni Qiliho is currently liaising with the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Ioane Naivalurua about allegations of Fijian women being transported to Papua New Guinea to provide sexual services to PNG Ministers.
Police are awaiting further information from the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Minister for Foreign Affairs, Inia Seruiratu had confirmed that they are looking into an alleged incident where Fijian women have been transported to Papua New Guinea for sexual services to PNG cabinet ministers.
Seruiratu says he was alerted of this issue by the Minister for Women.
It has been widely reported in PNG that Fijian women were allegedly transported to PNG to provide sexual services for the Ministers there.
