QVS students to be picked up by parents
Damages done Queen Victoria School after TC Winston.

Queen Victoria School received major damage from tropical Cyclone Winston.

The Fiji Police Force is now transporting 200 students from Queen Victoria School to be dropped off at the respective police stations near their area.

The students were picked up at Ratu Kadavulevu School.

Police Spokesperson, Inspector Josaia Weicavu says parents are requested to pick up their children from the respective police stations near their area.

Weicavu says they are liaising with the National Disaster Management to arrange a place for QVS students from the western division and the outer islands to stay.

We have also received reports of major damage to infrastructure at Ratu Kadavulevu School.

The RKS library was destroyed by devastating winds last night.
