Members of the public are now being urged to assist the Public Service Commission in ensuring civil servants perform to the best of their abilities and provide efficient services.
PSC Permanent Secretary, Parmesh Chand said all the ministries and departments now have their Service Charter in place where an expected standard of service has been implemented and people who do not get satisfactory service or are treated unfairly by civil servants in certain ministries can report the matter.
Chand also calls on members of the public to report any abuse of government vehicle.
This includes sighting of government vehicles used to drop off family members or school children, or state owned vehicles seen at odd places which may clearly indicate that they are not on official runs.
