FEO now proceeds to do data entry for the final result

The provisional results for the 2022 General Elections are now closed and the Fijian Elections Office will not be dispersing any more provisional results.

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says whatever is on the app is now the results that are provisional.

Saneem says they will now proceed to do data entry for the final result which will be available by Sunday.

The SOE adds the results will be published on the results app and people can keep in touch with the results app.

Meanwhile, the FijiFirst Party is leading the provisional results of the 2022 General Elections.

They have 162,084 votes. This equates to 45.88 percent of votes counted so far.

They are followed by People’s Alliance on 115,358 votes which is 32.66 percent of votes counted so far and NFP on 32,809 votes which equates 9.29 percent.

SODELPA has 16,202 votes which means they 4.59 percent of the total votes counted so far.

The Fiji Labour Party has 2.93 percent of the votes counted so far which equates to 10,358 votes.

Unity Fiji has 9,258 votes which makes up 2.62 of the total votes counted so far, We Unite Fiji Party has 4,554 votes or 1.29 percent, All People’s Party 0.50 percent of votes counted so far or 1,779 votes while New Generation Party has 646 votes.

Independent candidates Rajendra Prasad and Ravinesh Reddy have 130 and 69 votes respectively.

These provisional results are from 1,238 of 2071 stations counted.
